Ready Freddy was a little boy who loved to play with his toys. He had a lot of toys, but his favorite toy was a red fire truck.
One day, Ready Freddy’s friend, Billy, came over to play. Billy wanted to play with Ready Freddy’s fire truck, but Ready Freddy didn’t want to share.
“This is my fire truck,” he said. “I don’t have to share it with you.”
Billy was disappointed, but he didn’t argue with Ready Freddy. He went and played with something else.
Ready Freddy was happy to play with his fire truck by himself, but he soon started to feel lonely. He realized that it was more fun to play with Billy, even if he had to share his toys.
The next day, Ready Freddy decided to share his fire truck with Billy. He went over to Billy’s house and knocked on the door.
“Hey, Billy,” he said. “I’m sorry for not sharing my fire truck yesterday. Do you want to come over and play with it?”
Billy was so happy to hear that Ready Freddy was willing to share. He came over and they all had a lot of fun playing with the fire truck.
They put out fires, they rescued cats from trees, and they even had a race to see who could make the fire truck go the fastest. Ready Freddy had so much fun that he forgot all about being selfish.
After a while, Billy had to go home. He was all sad to leave, but he knew that he could come back and play with Ready Freddy again anytime.
Ready Freddy waved goodbye to Billy and went back home. He was happy that he had learned to share, and he was even happier that he had made a new friend.
The next day, Ready Freddy was playing with his fire truck in the park when he saw a little girl crying.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“I lost my doll,” she said.
Ready Freddy felt sorry for the little girl. He knew how it felt to lose a toy.
“Don’t worry,” he said. “I’ll help you find it.”
Ready Freddy and the little girl searched all over the park, but they couldn’t find the little girl’s doll.
Just when they were about to give up, Ready Freddy saw something in the bushes. He went over and picked it up. It was the little girl’s doll!
The little girl was so happy to get her doll back. She thanked Ready Freddy over and over again.
Ready Freddy was glad that he could help the little girl. He realized that it was even more fun to share with people you didn’t know.
From that day on, Ready Freddy was always willing to share. He shared his toys, his food, and even his time with his friends and neighbors. He was a much happier boy now that he had learned the importance of sharing.
One day, Ready Freddy was at the grocery store with his mom. They were in the checkout line when Ready Freddy saw a little boy who was crying.
“What’s wrong?” Ready Freddy asked.
“I don’t have enough money to buy a toy,” the little boy said.
Ready Freddy remembered how he felt when he lost his fire truck. He reached into his pocket and pulled out all the money he had.
“Here,” he said. “You can have this.”
The little boy was so happy. He thanked Ready Freddy over and over again.
Ready Freddy’s mom was proud of him for sharing his money. She told him that he was a very kind and generous boy.
Ready Freddy was happy to have learned the importance of sharing. He knew that it was always better to share than to be selfish.
